Trixie (Japanese: ヒバリ Hibari) is the character of the day in Love, Totodile Style. She and her Pokémon are performers in a Pokémon circus.

Trixie

Trixie met Ash and his friends when looking for her lost Azumarill. Recently, Azumarill had started acting differently and not performing as well as she used to. Ash's Totodile fell in love with Azumarill, but Azumarill wanted nothing to do with him. When Azumarill was captured by Team Rocket, Totodile came to her rescue, but was captured as well. Trixie had a Pidgey lead them to Team Rocket's balloon, and Ash's Pokémon set the captives free. Azumarill now finally expressed her love. But to everyone's surprise not for Totodile, but for Trixie's Golduck. This eventually helped her getting over her performance anxiety.

Trixie's Azumarill is used in a circus under the ownership of Trixie. Ash's Totodile expressed love for it, but in the end Azumarill expressed love for Trixie's Golduck. It has a small, pink bow on its tail. It first appeared when Trixie had lost it. Totodile saw it and started to show its love to Azumarill, but Totodile was rejected by it. It turned up when Trixie called it, followed by Totodile. It was then revealed that Azumarill had not been itself lately, after it captured Golduck. Later, it was seen in its performance, juggling balls with its Water Gun.

Later, it was captured by Team Rocket. Ash and his friends tried to help it, but Pikachu was captured too. Team Rocket tried to get it to juggle. Suddenly Totodile appeared but was captured too. At night Totodile gave Azumarill its lost ribbon back, making it slightly happy. The next day, Ash and his friends found Team Rocket, and Trixie's Golduck was able to send them blasting off with a powerful Water Gun. Azumarill was taken out of its cage, and ran towards Golduck (dodging Totodile) and hugged it.

In the English version, Azumarill was repeatedly referred to as a female.
