Damage Control (TCG)
Damage Control is a predominantly type deck found in the Let's Play Pokémon guide.
Description
This has been a popular deck since the beginning. The purpose of this deck is to allow the same Pokémon to take hit after hit without ever getting Knocked Out. The cornerstone of this deck is Alakazam. Alakazam lets you rearrange your damage counters any way you want.
There are plenty of ways to get rid of damage without letting your Pokémon get Knocked Out. You can move all your damage counters onto Pokémon with no Energy attached and then play Pokémon Center. Or, you can move up to eleven damage counters onto Chansey (not enough for a Knock Out), then play Scoop Up to put Chansey back into your hand. You can then put Chansey right back on your Bench.
