Accuracy

It's not affected by evasion, the article says, this and the fact that it says "100%" accuracy on the infobox leads me to believe that it is affected by accuracy. If so, I think it should be mentioned in the article. Though I'm not sure if it is or not. Malake256 21:51, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Moves that cannot miss generally say "---" accuracy to differentiate them from moves with 100% accuracy, but this needs to be tested (in both G5 and G6) to confirm. --Stratelier 23:47, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
UPDATE - I can confirm that (at least in Generation VI) Chip away does not ignore changes to the user's accuracy - it does have only 100% accuracy. I fished up some Basculin in Laverre City, and while no amount of Double Teams saved my Gardevoir from Chip Away, as little as two Flashes did. --Stratelier 00:19, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
Apologies if you've already done this, but it should probably be tested if the move also ignores factors such as Bright Powder, Sand Veil, or Eviolite before changing "any Defense and evasion boosts/drops" to "any changes to Defense and evasion".--Cold (talk) 00:42, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
