Name
Bulbanews says it's Chiramii, with one 'a'.--Pokélova! 12:20, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Physiology for the admins to implement
Chiramii is a furry, white-colored rodent-like Pokémon, sporting scruffs of fur on its head, ear insides, and neck. Chiramii’s large ears, located to the sides of its head, have red insides partly covered by the aforementioned tufts of fur there. Its eyes are large and brown, with a small, dot-like nose. Its limbs are somewhat rounded and small, and its tail is long and particularly furry. (I hope that this description is phrased well, I felt that it was more repetitive than the others....) - Done, thanks for writing these. --ZestyCactus 20:59, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- I think the description should include that it is actually a light grey, and only has white on the tips of its ears and tail... Mudkipchan 19:21, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
National Dex Number
Since Chiramii is number 78 in the isshu dex, that means it's number 571 in the national dex. You guys (the admins) think you could add that to the stuff n such? -User:Carrottime
- It doesn't always work like that. The Isshu dex may have Pokémon that are already known, like how Magikarp and Gyarados are found in the Sinnoh dex. Since they're already in the National dex, the Sinnoh dex doesn't match up exactly with the National dex. The same probably goes for Isshu, so we'll just have to wait until we know exactly what it is. ~ solaris 19:10, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Romanization
Shouldn't we use a better romanized name, like we did back in Generation IV? It can be replaced when the trademarked romaji comes out. Since we all know its name comes from chinchilla, it would be more correct to use Chillamii, Chillami, Chillamie or Chillamy. - D-Wheel 06:08, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
Name origin. It might be a mixture of chinchilla and "チラ見(chirami)".
チラ見(chirami) is a lovely gesture that the child does. Sawamular101 15:18, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- You may want to explain a little more about the gesture. Mudkipchan 15:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Chirami is a gesture of the line of vision. If the child does chirami, it becomes a very lovely gesture. If the adult does chirami, it becomes an unpleasant act. (lol . Sawamular101 15:32, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- I still don't get it....--Pokélova! 16:01, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- I think he means, like...averting your eyes and looking up occasionally? ("chirachira" is intermittently, "mi" is look) When a kid does it it seems cute and bashful, but an adult doing it is never positive (he doesn't have the balls to look me in the eye or he's just disrespecting me, etc.).—Loveはドコ? - It can literally be translated as "glancing look." Pretty much what Uru said... except that I think what Sawamular was saying is that if an adult does it, it's generally in a sexual/seductive manner. XD 梅子❀✿ 19:17, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
- And I think it is just coincidence that Chiramii has that in its name, it doesn't seem to be a Pokémon that would glance at people. Mudkipchan 19:25, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

- Mr. Loveはドコ? perfectly represented what I had wanted to say. Thank you for supplementing my explanation. Sawamular101 05:25, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- If "チラ見(chirami)" is in fact the insperation for the name it could be a refrence to it having a cute and childlike appeal. EpicShadow 12:46, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

Questionable Grammer
May I please do something about some of the grammer in the physiology descriptions of some of the pokémon. "Ear insides" come on guys, it should be "the inside of its ears". In the futur I would hope to see beter grammer, as it makes the articles sound more professional.EpicShadow 10:30, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
