(Japanese: '''テスラ''' ''Tesla'') is one of the [[characters of the day]] who appeared in ''[[XY020|Breaking Titles at the Chateau!]]''. He is the younger brother of [[Nikola]]. Together they have a tendency of rapping their sentences.

While resting at a [[Pokémon Center]] with his brother Nikola, Tesla heard a conversation of {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} about the [[Battle Chateau]]. Since they were on their way to the Battle Chateau, Nikola and Tesla decided to approach them and tell them more about the place. Ash then decided he wanted them to take him there to see it for himself.  

While Nikola had already battled frequently at the Battle Chateau and had won himself the rank of {{tc|Baron}}, Tesla was new to the place and so Nikola wanted to introduce him too. Inside the Battle Chateau, the group was welcomed by {{kal|Molly}} and [[Ikkon]]. Nikola's battle request was accepted by a Trainer named [[Farrell]]. Tesla watched how his brother managed to win and gain himself the rank of {{tc|Viscount}}. Ikkon then announced that the next battle would be between newcomers Tesla and Ash. Before the battle, Molly informed both Trainers the winner would gain the rank of Baron.  

For the battle, Tesla chose to battle with {{p|Fletchling}}, while Ash chose to battle with {{AP|Pikachu}}. Ash took the initiative by having Pikachu use {{m|Thunderbolt}}. Tesla chose to have Fletchling dodge it with {{m|Agility}}. Fletchling then dodged a couple of {{m|Electro Ball}}s and went on to use {{m|Feather Dance}}, lowering Pikachu's {{stat|Attack}}. Tesla then had Fletchling use {{m|Steel Wing}}, which Ash tried to counter with Pikachu's {{m|Iron Tail}}. This went on for a while with Iron Tail not doing a lot of damage due to Fletchling using Feather Dance before. After gaining a bit of momentum, Ash had Pikachu defeat Fletchling with Thunderbolt, losing Tesla the battle. Although Tesla lost, Nikola assured they would train together to win next time.  

Afterwards, he watched the battle between [[Viola]] and [[Grant]]. After that battle, everyone prepared to leave, as Nikola and Tesla said their farewells to Ash and his friends and they promised to meet up again sometime.

|desc={{p|Fletchling}} is Tesla's only known Pokémon. It first appeared on Tesla's shoulder when he and [[Nikola]] approached {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}}. At the [[Battle Chateau]] it went up against [[Ash's Pikachu]]. It managed to dodge Pikachu's attacks with Agility and lower his {{stat|Attack}} with Feather Dance. Although Pikachu's {{m|Iron Tail}} didn't do as much damage because of this, Pikachu eventually managed to gain momentum and defeat Fletchling with {{m|Thunderbolt}}.

* Tesla's and his brother's Nikola's names together form {{wp|Nikola Tesla}}, who was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist.
