This card was included in the {{TCG|Dark Explorers}} expansion with artwork by [[5ban Graphics]], first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Reshiram-EX Battle Strength Deck|Reshiram-EX}} and {{TCG|Zekrom-EX Battle Strength Deck}}s. It was reprinted in the Japanese {{TCG|Hydreigon Half Deck|Hydreigon}} and {{TCG|Garchomp Half Deck}}s, the {{TCG|Master Deck Build Box EX}}, and the {{TCG|Black Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Deck|Black Kyurem-EX}} and {{TCG|White Kyurem-EX Battle Strength Deck}}s. An Ultra-Rare {{TCG|Secret card|Secret}} print with new artwork by the same artist was later included in the {{TCG|Plasma Freeze}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Spiral Force}} expansion. The original print was later included in the {{TCG|Plasma Blast}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck}}.

During the XY Series, Ultra Ball was reprinted in the {{TCG|Flashfire}} expansion with new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]], first released in the Japanese {{TCG|M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck}}. This print was later included in the Japanese {{TCG|Hyper Metal Chain Deck}} and the {{TCG|Super Legend Set: Xerneas-EX & Yveltal-EX}}. It was reprinted again in the {{TCG|Roaring Skies}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck}}. This print was later included in the Japanese {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Power Style}}, {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style}}, and the {{TCG|BREAK Starter Pack}}. It was reprinted once again in the {{TCG|Fates Collide}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Zygarde-EX Perfect Battle Deck}} and {{TCG|M Audino-EX Mega Battle Deck}}.
