I really don't think that someone who [http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Television&curid=182925&diff=2012362&oldid=2012329 openly admits] they don't know anything about what they're editing should presume some piece of information is wrong. The next time you don't know about something, I would suggest you bring it up on the talk page for the article, rather than assuming the other person is wrong and commenting out their contribution. If they ''were'' wrong, it can always be fixed when that's confirmed, for solid reasons. The alternative is that no one may get around to fixing your mistake - you, the one who admitted you don't know anything about it, as opposed to the person who quite likely had an actual reason for adding their information.
