This is an ongoing project for me, and I'm about to head back and check the rematches after having obtained the Knuckle Badge, a trek that is usually not taken because Trainers usually head straight to Slateport and don't return to the beginning area until they wrap around Route 115 - or, nowadays, when the rival offers to walk with the player after completing the Meteor Falls events.  There may be no rematches from that, but I will be listing them at the above-linked page if you're interested.  [[User:CycloneGU|CycloneGU]] ([[User talk:CycloneGU|talk]]) 00:34, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

:I was not clear above.  I'm referring to the walkthrough that you've been working on.  Also, my data is updated to defeating Brendan or May on Route 110 now (unless others show up on Route 110 or next door on 103; I highly doubt that though).  [[User:CycloneGU|CycloneGU]] ([[User talk:CycloneGU|talk]]) 07:57, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

::For the few rematch teams I've encountered, I've simply listed them on the first visit to a new area, under a separate header. That way, the reader is aware of the potential battle and we don't need to list every newly-updated team after earning each new Badge. As far as I've seen, Trainers that can be rebattled are only listed as such, but not when their teams are updated, so your project would certainly be helpful. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 12:50, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
==Eon Ticket==
I recently got ahold of an Eon Ticket on my Omega Ruby (which I also transmitted to my Alpha Sapphire copy). I was thinking that like what I did in the past with the Regi Trio in Platinum is create a separate page for dealing with the other Eon Pokémon (only because it is not a regular gameplay event and is easy to deal with). What do you think of my idea? -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 00:31, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
:Sounds good to me. The event falls outside the main storyline, so that section should also be listed outside the main walkthrough. Call the page something like "Post-Game 1", and we can detail the Mirage Spot legendaries there as well. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 12:50, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
::An update is that right now I am working on my spare OmegaRuby (which is where I have an extra copy at least one game in each generation for data and item storage purposes since Gen. III). Since it is mentioned that this event can take place after the first trip to Southern Island, I am going to confirm it first and set up my coverage while doing so, which fits with my preferred style of a hands-on approach to conformation (Which I awhile back had to update the FireRed and LeafGreen walkthrough as the Legendary Beasts only appear after the Network Machine quest which I confirmed). But anyway I will probably name the section as the Eon Pokemon Event as a temporary fix and when you get far enough in the coverage, you can move the material to whatever page you want to put it on and delete that page as it would no longer be needed. Lastly the Pokémon from that event will still be at the same level as the one you would get on your first trip to Southern Island, so it can be used in the main walkthrough though I think Latios and Latias' templates will be reversed for both parts of the coverage due to version. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 05:28, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
:::All done, My Eon Ticket walkthrough page is up. When you later get to the coverage for the Post-Game stuff you mentioned, you can move the stuff there and then post a delete tag on that page as it can be considered a temporary solution and it won't be needed later once you get to that part of the game. Also you can use the Latios and Latias templates I used to make it easier to handle that part of the walkthrough in the main game since they'll only need a few modifications for that and that they are at the same level anyway with the same moves. But anyway good luck with the next part of the walkthrough.-[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 18:18, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
== Nameless Cavern Switches ==
Since you added them, I'm taking the courtesy of letting you know that they are broken.  I arrived at 5:30 PM UTC/12:30 PM EDT, both times clearly well within Mesprit's time period, and the table was lighting up Azelf.  I did some test edits to check on what would happen if I removed the correct one for the time period (Mesprit), and suddenly AQzelf was no longer lit up.  Meanwhile, when I removed Azelf's switch, Mesprit suddenly lit up correctly.  This is enough to suggest that the switch setup was flawed and needs to be rethought.
However, if it can't be set based on a user's time zone (in the settings) instead of relying on UTC, I would suggest that it should not be there at all; computer users have access to a clock just a quick glance away, and it's better not to allow the chance for misleading information in the table; phone users might have to look around the room or go to the next room, but again, there's no issue with getting a little exercise to check the time (it's been reported in the news that one should be standing for two minutes for every half hour sitting, anyway).  [[User:CycloneGU|CycloneGU]] ([[User talk:CycloneGU|talk]]) 17:46, 26 January 2015 (UTC)
== Talk archives ==
It seems you have removed your links to your talk page archives. Perhaps you are aware, but I just wanted to give you a reminder that they're supposed to be linked somewhere on your talk page. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 18:47, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
:I hadn't realized that, no. But they're here now. Thank you. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 19:36, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
==Nice Work==
Nice work on the recent addition to the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire guide. Also check out the minor addition I did to your Southern Island. Just a little something to provide coverage on Latios and Latias (by reversing the order I did for the Eon Ticket walkthrough and making the appropriate adjustments) and provide a minor link to the Eon Ticket walkthrough (which is something I also did for the Regi's in the Platinum walkthrough with a minor summary). -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 18:56, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
==ORAS Guide Missing One key thing==
Looking over the hidden area of the main walkthrough I did notice that the guide lacked a section for coverage on an Elite Four rematch which should be done to both provide coverage and also for the information on the Sinnoh Starters. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 19:40, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
:I also added links to the Mirage Spots since the regular guide does not need to cover them. It would also be a good idea to later start a guide later on to cover the other legendaries not listed in the main guide and you can also use my Eon Ticket walkthrough if you want. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 19:43, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
==Take a look==
Check out some of the edits I did to help out since the Johto Starters can be found at the beginning of the Delta Episode, you just need to know the trick to do it. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 15:56, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
:I am also thinking of setting up a Legendary Pokemon page for the legendaries that can only appear through Soaring (if you have any good ideas for a name I would appreciate it) and expanding the final part of the walkthrough for the Elite Four rematch (it will go after the Battle Resort) and moving the Sinnoh starter information there. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 16:08, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
::The Soaring-exclusive legendaries are covered in [[Appendix:Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire walkthrough/Section 20#Mirage Spots|Part 20]], as that is the earliest they can be encountered, but if you would like to add to it, you certainly can. League rematch data can move to Part 26, following the Battle Resort. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 16:48, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
:::It will be given it's own page like I did with the Eon Event situation called the Soaring Legendaries walkthrough and like I did with the Eon Event walkthrough, a link will also be posted on that part of the walkthrough to lead to that separate page. Also alternatively the S.S. Tidal data can be moved before the Battle Resort and the Elite Four rematch data can be put on that part of the walkthrough in it's place but I'll do it your way. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 14:05, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
Got several sections done already, but once I am done you could proof-read and make any changes. I am also thinking you could downsize the coverage in the main walkthrough if you want, but only after I am done since I only have the Sinnoh Mascots and Unova Legendaries left to deal with, which I'll do after I get home later. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 16:42, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
:No problem. Let me know when you're done and I'll look it over. We can move the info from Part 20 to your new page after that. Then I'll bump the later pages back. Part 25's Battle Resort coverage will move to Part 24, and the League rematches can go on Part 25. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 22:25, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
::I think it is better to just delete that earlier coverage, as my hard work and any later proofreading/correcting from you will make it unnecessary. Once I get the Giratina picture fixed I'll handle the last two parts for the Unova Coverage. The page should be fully ready by tomorrow. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 23:00, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
:::Just finished the guide so take a look whenever you want. On another note, I notice an something and looked into and confirmed that the Pokémon that the Elite Four and Steven use in their rematch that are from their original team have the same movesets so this will make it easier to handle for the coverage of the rematch with both, the new Pokémon for their teams and the Mega Evolutions are that needs to be dealt with. Also move the Sinnoh Starter details over to Part 25 as well as it correctly goes there and for Part 20 the Mirage Spots section can be converted into a small section with a link to a guide, and if you want the useful strategy I put into Cresselia's section with the Street Pass can also be mentioned on Part 20 as it is something I confirmed myself which is helpful advice. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 02:41, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
==Finished==
Took care of the Elite Four rematch coverage, the removal of the material from Part 20. and the moving of the Sinnoh Starter material for ORAS, so all that is needed is proofreading/corrections when you have the time and final choices. Just a few notes for you to know. A. For the Soaring Legendaries guide, for the special items related to certain legendaries I put them at the end of their respective group to display knowledge of where to look for them. B. As mentioned above for the Elite Four rematch coverage, only the new Pokémon needed to be directly mentioned which helped shorten the coverage. C. Since the new material is not as long as expected I am not going to move the Battle Resort coverage for now at least, you can make the final choice on that.
Also I am thinking that with a collapsible template, the move tutor moves could be place in the Battle Resort coverage. But in any case since I handled the hard work it should make your task much easier. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 21:33, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
==If you want==
One Idea I had a while back is that if you ever want to break up the coverage I did for the remaining legendaries for the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire walkthrough, go right ahead which is about seven sections worth. PS. I also took care of the coverage on how to get the Mega Stones for the other two Hoenn Starter Pokémon which also takes place immediately after the Groudon/Kyogre event. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 16:47, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
==Warning==
Be careful when trying to make your Hoenn guides the same for the areas that appear in all versions as I had to clean up a few errors for things that did not exist in Generation III (such as collecting Heart Scales with Rock Smash did not exist until Heart Gold and Soul Silver because collecting items from smashed rocks was introduced in those games). -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 19:08, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
:My mistake, thanks for fixing that. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 10:33, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
::I also fixed the Sturdy issue on the Rustboro Gym for the Ruby and Sapphire walkthrough a while back as well since it was a mechanic introduced in Generation V. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 13:33, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
==Two Requests==
While your way of doing things may be different, two requests I would like to make for the walkthroughs for the Sinnoh games which are simple even if you have to slightly redesign or reword them are a. To keep the information on the Pokémon necessary for completing the sight data for getting the National Pokédex (not counting Riolu or Manaphy on the Diamond and Pearl guide because that was not my work). My other request is to keep the information regarding the legendary golems as well as the keeping the links to the guide I made for catching them in Platinum (including the link in the Snowpoint Temple coverage for all three games) only because those three cannot be caught by normal means in Generation IV (same as Ho-oh and Lugia in Generation III). Those two things are the only personal requests I would like to make to you for those guides, the rest you can change regardless of the difference in opinion. -[[User:Tyler53841|Tyler53841]] ([[User talk:Tyler53841|talk]]) 13:50, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
== Bad Formatting ==
Just to let you know, the "bad formatting" tag is from when you have two <nowiki><br></nowiki> tags in a row. Thought I should tell you in case you didn't know, because it took someone else telling me before I realized that's why some of my edits were getting marked as "bad formatting". -[[User:Minibug|Minibug]] ([[User talk:Minibug|talk]]) 21:36, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
:Thank you. I didn't know what was causing it, so I appreciate the heads-up. —'''''[[User:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Tyler</span>]][[User talk:TylerGray|<span style="color:#7D7D92;">Gray</span>]]''''' 21:42, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
== TM sprites ==
It's nice to see all the effort you're putting into improving/creating appendix pages. == LGPE Walkthrough 17/18 ==
Hi, the LGPE walkthroughs look great! I was thinking that either of the post E4 sections should be a complete guide to the master trainers. It would be nice to have that for the walkthrough pages itself instead of having to redirect the reader to a different page. → [[User:SuperPikaPool13|<span style="color:#000;">Pika</span>]][[User talk:SuperPikaPool13|<span style="color:#000;">Tepig</span>]][[Special:Contribs/SuperPikaPool13|<span style="color:#000;">999</span>]] 18:38, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
