A '''Burglar''' (Japanese: '''{{tt|かじばどろぼう|Kajiba Dorobō}}''' ''Post-fire Burglar'' in [[Generation I|Generations I]] and {{gen|IV}}, '''{{tt|かじばドロボウ|Kajiba Dorobō}}''' ''Post-fire Burglar'' in [[Generation II]], '''{{tt|どろぼう|Dorobō}}''' ''Burglar'' in [[Generation III]]) is a type of [[Pokémon Trainer]] that first debuted in the [[Generation I]] games.  They are generally depicted as suspicious men sneaking around with sacks thrown over their backs. In [[Generation I]], they are only found in the burned-down {{ka|Pokémon Mansion}} and [[Cinnabar Gym]]. If defeated, they will sometimes drop an item as they flee. Burglars tend to drop large amounts of money.  

They specialize in {{type|Fire}} Pokémon. They also use {{p|Koffing}}, which may be used as a {{m|SmokeScreen|quick escape method}}, similar to that of the anime's original series.
