Emerald (Japanese: 第6章 エメラルド編 The Sixth Chapter: Emerald) is the sixth chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga, consisting of four volumes.
The Emerald arc (Japanese: エメラルド編 Emerald arc), also referred to as The Sixth Chapter (Japanese: 第六章 The Sixth Chapter), is the sixth story arc of the Pokémon Adventures manga, consisting of four volumes. It began serialization in February 2005, and ended in October 2008.

The chapter begins with focus on a Trainer named Emerald who is sent by Professor Oak and Crystal to capture Jirachi within seven days. On arrival at the Battle Frontier, he accidentally interferes in the opening ceremonies and gains the second challenge of clearing the seven Facilities by defeating the Frontier Brains within that time. During this time, Emerald befriends Todd Snap and discovers that the masked Guile Hideout is seeking Jirachi for evil purposes.
The arc begins with focus on a Trainer named Emerald, who is sent by Professor Oak and Crystal to caught Jirachi within seven days. On arrival at the Battle Frontier, he ends up interfering in the opening ceremonies and gains the second challenge of clearing the seven battle facilities by defeating the Frontier Brains within that time. During this time, Emerald befriends Todd Snap and discovers that the masked Guile Hideout is seeking Jirachi for evil purposes.

On the fifth day, the scale gets a bit bigger. Emerald meets Ruby and Sapphire for the Battle Dome challenge and, while they don't realize it at the time, on the same day they come across Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Silver who are still in the state they ended the last chapter in.
