:It was never confirmed to be the same Zorua. --<span style="color:#33CC66;">ケンジ</span><span style="color:#6600CC;">の</span><span style="color:#FF00CC;">ガール</span> 09:51, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
::The way it's wrote on the Zorua article hints it's the same since it's wrote under "Zorua (movie 13)" section: "Zorua (movie 13) - Zorua is set to make its anime appearance in BW040." if that info isn't confirmed or it's incorrect then someone should fix it. 2 and 3, the episode title is "Zorua The Movie! The Legend of the Pokémon Knight!!" and it's a fact that the Zorua of the movie is an Unova resident (thought this last one is most likely to be the case of every living Zorua).LurKasumi 10:48, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
:::It's listed as a major appearance. Zorua from M13 was major, and the Zorua in BW040 is a title character, so it's most likely to be a major appearance also. The section isn't entirely dedicated to M13's Zorua. As for the movie part, it could be similar to another episode, not necessarily the same the same Zorua that appeared in the movie. Also, it wouldn't be the first movie Pokémon to appear in the anime series, so to speak, if it did turn out to be the same. (Though Mewtwo's was a special. It wasn't really a movie either...) But either way, we can't assume anything until the episode airs the week after this one. :) <span style="color:#C00;">★</span><span style="color:#C00;">Jo the Marten</span><span style="color:#C00;">★</span> <span style="color:#C00;">ಠ_ಠ</span><span style="color:#90C870;">♥</span> 11:08, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
its a girl!!
Actually, Kodai dosen't say "when HE bit me" he says "when it bit me" and if you listen to zorua's laugh, its a dead give away of the gender.I know it says male on the "gender" bit but a bit later on the same page it says, "the teary reunion of MOTHER AND DAUGHTER". So actually the little fox pokemon is a female. If anybody agrees with my TRUE statement, please reply!  jaz. Jaz
:First of all, the event Zorua is male, so this one is most likely male as well. Second, how does a laugh confirm anything? Third, where does it say that? Lastly, sign your comments with four tildes. (~ <- these things). Ataro 09:02, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
her laugh sounds so much like a girls. And what on earth is event zourua?Jaz 09:08, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
:People have different laughs. You can't just classify it as a "girls laugh". Ataro 09:12, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
I guess your right,if you want we could just call her/him an it?Because i hate fighting.Jaz 09:19, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
::It's already confirmed to be male. Calling him "him/her" would be incorrect and it would look sloppy in the article. <span style="color:Blue;">--Pokemaster</span><span style="color:Blue;">97</span> 12:18, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
On another website i go to every comment on the movie is about how its female or gender unknown.Jaz 22:56, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
:::Voices are not a good source for genders, they can get easily confusing. <span style="color:orange">Patty</span><span style="color:orange">Man</span> 23:04, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
Zorua's Gender-Solving Proposal
Someone changed Zorua's gender back from "Male" to "Unknown" once again. I have read the continuous agreements and arguments on the talk page regarding this issue and I'm afraid I am getting really sick and tired of this(that's right, I have been checking this page since it was created!). Hence my username, I am indeed a Japanese American and after watching the original un-dubbed M13 on YouTube, I automatically realized that Zorua is indeed a male because of his masculine use of pronouns(first person). Someone else has mentioned this a long time ago but no one seemed to believe her, so I assume that no one will believe me either, and it would not be worth it to explain the pronouns to you guys more clearly. And I understand that recently in the Japanese My Little Pony dub(sorry this is off-topic!!), they have been getting Rainbow Dash to use masculine pronouns as well("boku"), even though she is a female character, so I know you might argue with that. So to permanently solve this problem once and for all, I would like to suggest that one of us should e-mail or IM a staff member/writer/animator, etc.. of the Pokemon Company, or anything related to that. This way, we would have an official confirmation even though the answer is right under your noses but you are too darn stubborn to realize it and accept it! :P So what do you guys say??--All American Japony (talk) 08:18, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Scratch
Are we sure that the move it uses in the movie is Scratch? I don't remember the move being referred to by name, and it could just as easily be Fury Swipes, Slash, or some other generic scratching move.
