'''Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis''' is a multilingual, {{wp|Open content|open-content}} Pokémon encyclopedia project that includes, among others, [[Bulbapedia]].

The first person to conceive the idea of a Pokémon wiki was [[Meowth346]] of [[Pokémon Forever]]. Eventually, Bulbapedia itself was created in December 2004, and opened to the public the following February. In April 2005, {{u|nYoo}} suggested a {{wp|German language|German-language}} version. Later in the year, in August, the idea that would eventually spawn [[PokéWiki]] came to be.

On April 6, 2007, the {{wp|Polish language|Polish-language}} [[Wikinezka]] joined the group. The {{wp|French language|French-language}} [[Poképédia]] joined in September 2007, and the {{wp|Portuguese language|Portuguese-language}} [[LANDpedia]] joined in December, 2007. The {{wp|Spanish language|Spanish-language}} [[Pokéteca]] joined in August, 2009, while most recently, the {{wp|Italian language|Italian-language}} [[Pokémon Central]] joined the group in August, 2010.

Currently, the eight wikis interlink to each other, and navigation between articles on the same subject is made possible by links in the sidebar.

The logo of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis is a [[Poké Ball]] image superimposed over a polar [[wp:azimuthal equidistant projection|azimuthal equidistant projection]] of the planet Earth, reminiscent of the [[wp:Flag of the United Nations|Flag of the United Nations]]. The color of the Poké Ball, as well as the color of the underlying Earth, differs among the members of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis: Bulbapedia's is green, PokéWiki's is teal, Pokémon Wiki's is blue, Wikinezka's is red, Poképédia's is yellow, LANDpedia's is orange, Pokéteca's is brown, and Pokémon Central's is indigo.
