If you are currently using <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki> for your signature, then it is apparent that you have customized your signature to remove its links. Let me suggest that you just undo your customization so your sig returns to its default. If you select preferences at the top of the page, you should be able to clear the text box in the signature section to make it return to the default.
