Jimmy's Typhlosion (Japanese: ケンタのバクフーン Kenta's Bakphoon) was Jimmy's starter Pokémon, obtained by him as a Cyndaquil on the same day that Vincent got his Chikorita and Marina got her Totodile.
Like Ash and his Pikachu, Jimmy and Typhlosion are very close to each other. In The Legend of Thunder!, it was seen out of its Poké Ball most of the time. It is Jimmy's strongest Pokémon.
Like Jimmy, Typhlosion too is determined and never gives up. It has an offensive battle style. It seems to be very strong defensively, being able to take a direct Water Gun from Wani-Wani and survive it.
