The '''Gracidea''' (Japanese: '''グラシデアのはな''' ''Gracidea Flower'') is a [[key item]] introduced in {{game|Platinum}} that changes {{p|Shaymin}} between its {{DL|Form differences|Shaymin|Land and Sky Formes}}. The flower is native to {{si|Gracidea}}, hence its name. Of note is that the flowers on Shaymin's head also resemble Gracideas.  

==In the core series games==

The Gracidea can be received in {{game|Platinum}} during the {{player}}'s first or subsequent trips to [[Floaroma Town]], although the player's [[party]] must contain a {{p|Shaymin}} received from a {{pkmn2|event|Nintendo event}} or one caught by the player by unlocking [[Oak's Letter]] via [[Mystery Gift]]. This item cannot be used at {{DL|Time|Night 2|night}} or when Shaymin is {{status|Freeze|frozen}}. In some places, people give bouquets of these flowers that resemble Shaymin to thank someone. This comes from Shaymin's [[species]] name, ''Gratitude''.

In {{g|X and Y}}, Gracideas are featured in one of the paintings on display at the {{DL|Lumiose City|Lumiose Museum}}. It is also mentioned by an NPC located in [[Snowbelle City]]'s [[Pokémon Center]].
