'''Rico''' (Japanese: '''リョウ''' ''Ryō'') is a {{g|poacher}} and [[character of the day]] who appeared in ''[[AG006|A Poached Ego!]]''.

When {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} found a piece of one of Rico's traps in the woods, they told [[Officer Jenny]] about it when they visited the [[Pokémon Center]]. Jenny knew Rico was up to his usual evil deeds, and Ash and his friends volunteered to help Jenny capture Rico. Ash and his friends didn't find Rico, but [[Jessie]], [[James]] and {{MTR}} found him, along with a group of caged {{p|Ekans}} and {{p|Koffing}} which Rico was going to give to his employers. {{TRT}} fought Rico for the freedom of the Ekans and Koffing, but Rico defeated them, although Team Rocket managed to rescue the Ekans and Koffing. To be sure they were safe, they released their {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} and {{TP|James|Weezing}} to look after them.  

After running into {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} and Officer Jenny he ended up being captured. As Rico confessed to Ash and his friends and Jenny that the Pokémon he captured escaped, they were unaware of the fact Jessie, James and Meowth freed them. He is currently in jail.

|desc={{p|Fearow}} was first seen showing Rico were {{TRT}} was when they were trying to open up the caged {{p|Ekans}} and {{p|Koffing}}. Shortly after this it battled with [[James's Weezing]] and [[Jessie's Arbok]] to which it ultimately lost due to {{p|Arbok}} shutting its beak with {{m|Wrap}}. Fearow was seen again a bit later besides Rico on the side seat of his car when Team Rocket appeared again to save the captured Pokémon. Jessie's Arbok attacked Fearow with {{m|Headbutt}}, sending it smashing against Rico's electrified cage, giving it a devastating electric shock. The Beak Pokémon was later defeated by [[Ash's Pikachu]]'s {{m|Thunderbolt}}.

 

Fearow's known moves are {{m|Agility}}, {{m|Fury Attack}} and {{m|Drill Peck}}.}}

|desc=Rico's {{p|Tyranitar}} was originally seen as a {{p|Pupitar}} during his first meeting with Team Rocket, where he used it to send the trio blasting off. He also sent it against them when they were releasing the Ekans and Koffing he had stolen, when it immediately [[evolution|evolved]] into a Tyranitar, just like Rico had been guessing. Team Rocket found themselves helpless against this powerhouse, and told Arbok and Weezing to leave while they were staying there to give them time to go. After Jessie, James and Meowth were knocked down, Rico recalled Tyranitar. Later, he attempted to use it against Ash and {{ashfr}}, but was taken down by [[Officer Jenny's Growlithe]] before he was able to do that.
