In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, he will trade the player one of his decorations ([[Pokémon doll#Generation III|Duskull Doll]], [[Cushion#Generation III|Ball Cushion]], [[Tire]], [[Plant#Generation III|Pretty Flowers]]) for one of the player's decorations. He will only trade once each time the player mixes records. When he is passed to another player via record mixing, he will replace the item he originally offered with the item the player traded him.

In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, he will offer to trade the player one of four Decorations ([[Pokémon doll#Generation III|Duskull Doll]], [[Cushion#Generation VI|Poké Ball Cushion]], [[Ornament#Other|Tire]], [[Plant#Generation VI|Flowering Plant]]) for one of three items ([[Potion]], [[Antidote]], {{i|Poké Ball}}). He first appears after the player has the {{badge|Mind}}, and trade once. For trading the first time he will give the player the Stealth Power. After the player has the {{badge|Rain}}, he will trade one of the decorations from the same pool again, then give the player the Bargain Power for trading and leave.
