The '''Beach''' (Japanese: '''ビーチ''' ''Beach'') is one of the six major areas of [[Pokémon Island]], and like its name suggests, it is a sunny beach location. Many man made structures and objects lie about the course, a clear sign humans once inhabited the island in the recent past. However, in absence of any current human residence, these items are slowly eroding and being reclaimed by the land.

Towards the beginning of the beach, a wooden {{wp|retaining wall}} is built into the hillside, as well as a {{wp|boardwalk}} descending down from atop the hill. Left by an unknown owner and still perched into the sand, an abandoned {{wp|surfboard}} provides a testament to there once being a human presence, as well as a disregard for the environment by the previous human inhabitants. Still intact and in working condition, a {{wp|Track (rail transport|rail track}} spans the entire length of the course, complete with a bridge to connect both sides of the island's coastline.

Twelve different kinds of {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} reside on or near the beach, ranging from the common {{p|Butterfree}} to rarer Pokémon such as {{p|Eevee}} and {{p|Chansey}}. Many {{p|Pidgey}} nest here and off the coast, a school of {{p|Lapras}} can be seen congregating in the distance.

In a combination of both natural and man made formations, and when viewed at a certain angle, a set of {{wp|moss}} covered rocks and a wooden structure manifests into the shape and appearance of a {{p|Kingler}}. It is for this reason that [[Professor Oak]] names it <nowiki>'</nowiki>'''''{{DL|Pokémon signs|Kingler Rock}}'''''.<nowiki>'</nowiki> This is one of the six [[Pokémon sign]]s spread across the island.

| Several are seen flying around the start of the course. Further along the course, there are several points where Pidgey fly by while being chased by a Meowth. Near the end, a couple of Pidgey will fly to their nest and use {{m|Gust}} against a Meowth near it.

| Near the beginning of the beach, a Doduo leaps out from behind a corner and flees onto the beach and out of sight. Another Doduo later appears in the area, leaping from a patch of tall grass. Using a Pester Ball on it will make it temporarily faint.

| A few Pikachu may be found along the beach. [[Pokémon food]] can be used to lead the Pikachu at the start of the course to a surf board left in the sand. After scaring Scyther from the tall grass, two Pikachu will come out and sit on nearby tree stumps. The sound of a [[Poké Flute]] will send sparks flying with a double-{{m|Thunderbolt}} attack from the two Pikachu.

| Common around the beach. Using the [[Dash Engine]] will allow the player to find four Butterfree near the bridge.

| Lapras are found in the ocean on the horizon. If the player takes photos of the first three sets of Lapras, three Lapras will appear close-up near the end of the course.

| Seen as a very large snoozing blob. While a [[Pester Ball]] will get a slight movement out of Snorlax, it will take the [[Poké Flute]] to wake this Pokémon and get it to dance. The different tunes played by the Poké Flute will cause Snorlax to perform different dances.

| One Meowth is seen on a high ledge making faces and will fall down after being hit with a [[Pester Ball]]. After falling off, the Meowth will get up and react with various poses. Later, there are a few instances where a Meowth is seen chasing a Pidgey. Two Pidgey use {{m|Gust}} on a Meowth near the end of the course. Hitting both Pidgey with Pester Balls before they use Gust will make them disperse and allow a shot of Meowth doing a dance.

| It is hidden in tall grass, where a [[Pester Ball]] into the area of grass being chopped will send it fleeing from its cover. As Scyther escapes, it takes a moment to use a {{m|Slash}} attack.

| Eevee plays among large boulders with a mysterious pink ball.

| Throwing an item at the pink ball that Eevee is playing with will reveal it to be a Chansey.

| Tossing [[Pokémon food]] or a [[Pester Ball]] into virtually any body of water causes a Magikarp to leap up.

If the player lures a Pikachu onto the surfboard at the beginning of the course, it will act as if it's surfing. This shot is worth 1000 bonus points.
===Pikachu on a Stump===
If the player scares Scyther out of the tall grass halfway through the course, two Pikachu will appear on nearby tree stumps. This shot is worth 1300 bonus points.
