"Most insect artist"

Is there any other way to translate this that would make a lick of sense? Be a little liberal with the translation if you have to. "Insect" is not an adjective, and "most" cannot take a noun as its object.--AndyPKMN 20:58, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately the title in Japanese is モスト インセクト アーティスト in Katakana-English and is literally "Most Insect Artist" spelled out in Japanese kana. This is yet another case of Game Freak having wacky English it seems. Sunyshore 10:17, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Engrish. It's typical. --Maxim 13:51, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Maybe it was not just Engrish, but rather actually intended, as a rhyme, as the kana writing makes every word in the title end in "uto". Veggietable 17:22, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps it could be displayed as "Most Insectoid/Insect-Like Artist"? I agree that it makes no sense, but are we here to be accurate or aesthetic? I don't know, I still can't get over that artwork. Sunnie☀ 05:15, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Burgh

http://pokemonblackandwhite.net/?p=3274

Yep. It's Burgh now. Change everyone's name accordingly, folks.--FlareKitsu 00:16, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

We need an official source. 梅子 00:18, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
It's on Serebii now. Everyone has updated the names except for you people. Catch up already.--FlareKitsu 16:54, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Serebii is not an official source. When Nintendo officially reveals the names, we'll add them. Jellotalk 17:09, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Serebii have its own way and we respect that. But we have our own policies, rules and regulations and a separate way to handle the situations. It's an encyclopedia so we need factual and officially confirmed information for our articles. If you want to follow bulbapedia then you just have to deal with it. Please bear with us and have some patience. ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 17:19, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
So you're just gonna wait until the games come out. Meanwhile everyone and their grandma puts up the REAL English names. Good god you people are retarded.--FlareKitsu 19:57, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Well not unless if an official source posts those names before the release dates. Besides only official sources matter over fansites since there is no telling if the leaked names are faked even if they are later proven real. Besides remember the code of conduct since you could be blocked from writing insults in your posts. -Tyler53841 20:01, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh, so a Swedish game guide is official? You already have Lenora. The same name is on the list. Therefore Burgh IS real. And when it is officially posted, I'll be here to laugh at how stupid you are for changing something that everyone already knew.--FlareKitsu 20:04, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Please stop it, you are basically asking for a ban... --Han Ji-Wan 20:05, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
We're not saying that the leaked names are definitively not real, we're saying that we are not using them until they are officially announced. That is our policy, and we have legal reasons for sticking by it. 梅子 20:07, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Typo for Hahakomori, Potential Trivia & Question

  • Fist off, for Hahakomori's anime section in Arti's page it said it will battle Ash "is" BW025. Second, should it be noted in Arti's trivia that his Japanese VA told us sometime ago that Arti would appear in BW018, BW022 & BW025? I'm pretty sure that was stated before we knew of BW022 & BW025's episode titles. By the way, I can't edit Arti's page (it's probably because it might be restricted to just admins or whatever), but if I could, I would just make this change and addition myself. Why is his page restricted anyways? Torpoleon 00:10, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
It's semi-protected because people keep changing Arti's name to "Burgh". And his VA didn't outright say he would appear. It was just on is resume, which a lot of voice actors have. --ケンジガール 00:14, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Overlapping Tables

When you click on the show pokemon section of Burghs article it opens but then the character tablet. Is there a way to fix it? --Pokemaster97 01:04, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Do you mean when you click the show button on his party template, it covers his infobox? For me, it moves below his infobox when you press show. What browser are you using, and is it still happening? --SnorlaxMonster 14:34, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

Destiny Deoxys

hey, this guy has a cameo in destiny deoxys.

when every ones cramming into the train to evacuate, the last guy to cram in says, "time to party!" and waves his hands in the air.

he looks just like burgh, in every way except his face, which is pudgier... is this not worthy of note? - unsigned comment from Flameswy (talkcontribs)

No. It's practically impossible for it to be the same guy, seeing as that movie was produced six years before Black and White. And since his character and mannerisms sound completely different, it's doubtful Burgh was even based on that minor extra. --AndyPKMN (talk) 23:17, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
I know who you are talking about. He was based on a Japanese celebrity who also voiced him. He looked nothing like Burgh anyway.--ケンジガール 05:54, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Burgh's Leavanny

Should I make a page for it? Or wait for a fourth appearence in the anime?--Igor 19:05, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

No. And flashbacks do not count towards appearances. It's only appeared physically twice. --ケンジガール 19:16, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Romanized Name

Seems like his real romanized name's Arty. [1] --- Misaki

Trivia Error(?)

The trivia says "Burgh uses an illegal Accelgor in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, during the Unova Leaders Tournament. This Accelgor knows both the moves Spikes and Guard Split, both of which it is able to learn by breeding. However, it should be unable to learn them simultaneously, as it can receive Guard Split only from Shuckle while it must get Spikes from the Pineco family." Couldn't you just breed a Shuckle that knows guard split with an Accelgor, then breed a Pineco/Forretress that knows spikes with the resulting Shelmet/Accelgor to get an Accelgor that knows both moves? Robertodole (talk) 14:20, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

"If the father or, starting in Generation VI, the mother knows any specific Egg Moves that the baby can learn, the baby will inherit the move." and its gen V.--Rocket Grunt (Report To Me) 14:28, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
