PocketMonsters sub say that the town name is Mecabbage Town. Can anyone confirm that is the correct spelling? --HoennMaster 18:19, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

:Actually, it's メキャベツタウン ("Mekyabetsu"). メキャベツ means "Brussels sprouts" and I doubt that it should be romanized as "Mecabbage". "Me" is a Japanese word here (芽 in Kanji) and "Kyabetsu" actually originates from French "caboche", not English "cabbage". I'd personally leave this alone and romanize the name as "Mekyabetsu Town" (because it's not a fully foreign word) but "Mecaboche Town" would also be acceptable. But "Mecabbage" is awkward and incorrect anyway. --Maxim 19:12, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
