Egg Bomb (Japanese: タマゴばくだん Egg Bomb) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM37 in Generation I.

Effect

Generations I to VII

Egg Bomb inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.

Egg Bomb does no damage to opponents with the Bulletproof ability.

Egg Bomb can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination and a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining 4 bonus appeal points if Soft-Boiled was used in the previous turn.

Generation VIII onwards

Egg Bomb cannot be selected in a battle.

Description

Games Description StadStad2 A Normal-type attack. An egg is launched at the target. It may miss, however. GSC Eggs are hurled at the foe. RSE An egg is forcibly hurled at the foe. FRLG A large egg is hurled with great force at the foe to inflict damage. ColoXD An egg is forcibly hurled at the target. DPPtHGSSPBR A large egg is hurled with maximum force at the foe to inflict damage. BWB2W2 XYORAS SMUSUMPE A large egg is hurled at the target with maximum force to inflict damage. SwShBDSPLA SV This move can't be used. It's recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can't be remembered.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Egg Bomb is Blissey's first move. It is obtained by reaching level 6 upgrading Pound into it instead of Helping Hand. The user hurls an egg at a location which explodes; damaging and throwing enemies in the radius for .8s. When learning Soft Boiled and Egg Bomb, gain 2 additional charges for Soft Boiled. Charges are shared between both moves. Base cooldown becomes 8s for both moves and time between using the same move remains a 2s cooldown. At level 12, also slows enemies by 40% for 2s after the eggs are thrown.
