Effect

In battle

During harsh sunlight, the Speed stat of Pokémon with this Ability is doubled.

Outside of battle

Chlorophyll has no effect outside of battle.

• Blue's Exeggutor, Sapphire's Tropius, Troppy, and White's Deerling, Darlene, were revealed to have Chlorophyll as their Ability in the PokéSPedia data-book.
• Red's Victreebel and Weepinbell, Erika's Vileplume and Bellossom, Gardenia's Cherubi, a Team Plasma Grunt's Maractus, and the Bellsprout belonging to the Sages were revealed to have Chlorophyll as their Ability.

• Aside from Scovillain, every Pokémon with this Ability is weak to Fire-type attacks, which have increased power under harsh sunlight.
