Conway (Japanese: コウヘイ Kōhei) is a minor recurring character from the anime. His first appearance was in Tag! We're It! as Dawn's tag-team partner.

Conway was shown to be a very smart trainer. His strategies played an important role in helping Dawn and him to advance to the finals of the Hearthome City Tag Battle Competition. Conway appears again in Camping It Up! through One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team! during a four-episode arc at a summer school. During this arc he demonstrates his knowledge about Pokémon as well as an attraction towards Dawn.

Conway uses very effective strategies, but doesn't improvise much, something that has led to losses several times for him. Examples include using Confusion to redirect an attack, using Protect while another Pokémon attacks, and so on.
