Special Moves
In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Venomoth knows Shadow Mist and Shadow Rush as a Shadow Pokémon, and learns Refresh after being purified.
In the anime
Koga's Venonat evolved into this Poison Moth Pokémon in EP032.
In AG128, Katie battled against Ash using a Venomoth during the Hoenn League. Venomoth's Disable attack caused Ash's Torkoal to be unable to use Iron Defense, so that her Golduck could knock out the Coal Pokémon with Hydro Pump. In the following episode, Katie's Venomoth was defeated by Ash's Swellow.
