- Samson Oak presents Ash and his classmates with two Eggs; one of them being the Egg Ash brought from Kanto and the other being from Mount Lanakila, and tasks them to take care of one of them while he takes care of the other one.
- Lillie chooses the Alola-native Egg for the class to take care of.
- The class decides to let Lillie take care of the Egg.
