Hello Pokémon Fans!

We've got some exciting updates about Bulbapedia to share with you today - let's get started!

First, let's start thinking with Browsing Portals! A Browsing Portal is a new, curated way to navigate the encyclopedia; you can explore a variety of topics all from a single landing page. Starting off, we have portals prepared for Video Games, Animation, and the Trading Card Game to help you navigate these media, with more to come later, so be sure to take a look.

Next, user account name changes are now live! If you've been waiting for this feature — or are simply in the mood for a change — you can post your request on the username policy talk page or message one of our many volunteer staff on their talk pages. They'll be happy to help!

Now, we'd like to share a few policy updates:

  • With an increasing number of leaks of TCG cards, we've updated our Unreleased Materials Policy to include illegally obtained cards. Going forward, leaks of cards and products that occur during the production process, such as theft or unauthorized photography from a printing facility, will not be covered on Bulbapedia.

And finally, I'm pleased to share that Bulbagarden and Bulbapedia are hosting a staff drive! If you have any interest in joining our volunteer staff team, fill out our Bulbapedia Junior Administrator application before June 16th. We hope you take this chance to make a lasting impact on our community encyclopedia - we can't wait to hear from you!

That’s all for now. See you next time!

Maverick Nate

Indigo Plateau

The Indigo Plateau serves as the capital for the Pokémon League. It is the final destination for Pokémon Trainers competing in Indigo or Johto League competitions against the Elite Four. This is the where the powerful Elite Four battle against Trainers in a final showdown of becoming a master Pokémon trainer, who may be challenged after defeating of all eight Gym Leaders of each respective region. In the anime, it is also the location of the Indigo Plateau Conference, Kanto Grand Festival and the Pokémon League Village.

The Indigo Plateau is located just north of Victory Road, and east of Mt. Silver. In Generation I and III, the only way to reach the Indigo Plateau is by going through Route 23; however, in Generation II and IV, the Indigo Plateau can be reached by going through Route 26. In order to reach Indigo Plateau by foot, Trainers must venture through Victory Road, a lengthy cave acting as a final test for Trainers.

Why not. I stole most of the stuff from trom, I just didn't like the top and background stuff.
