Just what is a Debbie Downer?

A Debbie Downer is a user that, when they do not get their way, proceed to pout and whine, often on the talk page of TTEchidna.

So they are just whiners?

Basically. Such whiners are often upset by things such as

• Getting their edit reverted
• Getting a warning placed on their talk page
• A change of policy, when they liked the old one
• Not getting their Bulbanews article placed on the Main Page; and
• Being called a "Debbie Downer"

Am I a Debbie Downer?

Possibly. If you have ever gotten in trouble for edit warring over images, talking back to administrators or taking the {{TPCD}} warning off of your talk page, then complaining that it was unfair then you most likely are a Debbie Downer.

How to deal with Debbie Downers

First, make sure that they are being a Debbie Downer. To do this, make sure they are exhibiting at least two of the symptoms above. If they are then find an administrator and notify them of the situation as soon as possible. Until then, place the tag below on their User Page. Before doing so, please check and make sure that they don't already have the tag on their page.
