Real-World Basis

Anyone else think Mont Saint-Michel [1] when they saw this? The Tower of Mastery is a similar fortress-like edifice, and, from the screenshot, appears to also be a tidal island connected to the coast by a narrow causeway. Furthermore, the map of Kalos http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/File:Kalos.png shows an island inset into the left "star point" that appears to be the Tower of Mastery, in a roughly equivalent location as Mont Saint-Michel, relative to mainland France. Considering the island's landmark iconic status, and the fact that "it totally reminds me of Mont Saint-Michel" is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw that screenshot, I think its being used as the inspiration for the Tower of Mastery is highly probable. It's impossible for me not to believe in you. However, I'm still not sure if the staff would like to see this so early. But I personaly don't see why not. It has to be Mont Saint-Michel! TheOriginalOne 20:02, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
