PZ08: Difference between revisions

{{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} arrives in [[Cinnabar Island]].

{{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} and {{p|Pikachu}} are riding {{p|Lapras}} to the [[Seafoam Islands]]. With [[Misty]]'s {{p|Seel}}, he remembers the {{p|Dewgong}} that saved him. He goes inside and sees a bunch of peaceful Pokémon. After seeing this, {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} decides to free [[Misty]]'s {{p|Seel}} and watches it swim away. {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}}'s looking around when he sees a mysterious figure on top of a large ice pillar- it's an {{p|Articuno}}!  

{{p|Lapras}} tells {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} of the Legendary Bird Pokémon and of how rare and powerful they are, so {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} decides to catch it. But just as he decides this, {{p|Articuno}} is startled of seeing {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} and goes away. Suddenly a man appears. His name is [[Blaine]]. Just then a {{p|Venonat}} sits on his head, and [[Blaine]] yells at it. He says he is the [[Cinnabar Island]] Gym Leader, so {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} decides to travel there.  

Later on, {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} reaches the gym and finds [[Blaine]] inside with a {{p|Rapidash}} and {{p|Ninetales}}. He talks about the town's lab, and Satoshi mentions [[Prof Oak]]'s lab. He shows [[Blaine]] his [[Pokédex]]. He tells Satoshi of the research being done on {{p|Mew}} in the Island's Lab to make a {{p|Mewtwo}}. Then he talks about {{p|Articuno}}. He challenges {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} to a battle, and he accepts. They go into another room, and each send out the Pokémon. Satoshi sends out {{p|Charmeleon}} while [[Blaine]] sends out {{p|Arcanine}}.   

[[Blaine]] asks why he isn't using a {{type2|Water}} against him, but {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} ignores the question and replies that he'll win anyway. {{p|Arcanine}} attacks with {{m|Fire Spin}}, but has no effect. Then {{p|Charmeleon}} attacks, and it's a [[One-hit knockout move|One hit KO]]. {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} wins and is awarded the Volcano Badge before noticing his {{p|Charmeleon}} glowing. {{p|Charmeleon}} evolves into {{p|Charizard}}! [[Blaine]] starts to tell his life story.   

[[Blaine]] was in the [[Seafoam Islands]] and his Fire Pokémon were hurt, and remembers seeing {{p|Articuno}} fly away. {{OBP|Satoshi|Zensho}} says with his {{p|Charizard}}, his {{p|Pikachu}}, his {{p|Lapras}}, and a {{p|Jigglypuff}} he had caught earlier, he'll be able to beat all of the Legendary Birds and help [[Blaine]] catch {{p|Articuno}}.
