:::The Nidoran clan is one of two special cases where the breeding result can be different than the mother's fully unevolved form. In this case, a Nidoran♀'s egg can indeed hatch into a {{p|Nidoran♂}}. The other special case is {{p|Illumise}}, which can have a {{p|Volbeat}} child. | |||
