+:::::There probably aren't any screenshots of pokemon other then Gen 1 and 2 because it's a remake of the Gen 2 games, which means most likely no pokemon of later gens until the player beats the elite 4 (unless they include the new evolutions).  I don't know about a source, but I can't imagine them making sprites for all the gen 1 and 2 pokemon and then just leaving out the later gens.
