Grovyle (Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky): Difference between revisions

At first, Grovyle is believed to be a villain, supposedly trying to steal the [[Time Gear]]s to cause the planet's paralysis. He steals the first from Treeshroud Forest without resistance then steals the Time Gear of [[Fogbound Lake]], defeating {{p|Uxie}} and the fake {{p|Groudon}}. Next he steals the Time Gear guarded by Mesprit, who was weakened by attacking the player character and his partner. Next he defeats {{p|Azelf}} but Azelf covers the lake in crystal to prevent him from getting it and then the player's team confronts him but despite their best efforts, are defeated by Grovyle and he nearly kills the player's partner but Dusknoir chases him off. Dusknoir finally captures him but drags the player and partner into the future. There {{OBP|Dusknoir|Mystery Dungeon 2 character}} has his {{p|Sableye}} attempt to execute the player, their partner, and Grovyle but thanks to Grovyle's quick thinking, they escape. They find {{p|Celebi}} and return to the past, narrowly avoiding Dusknoir, his Sableye, and Dusknoir's master, [[Primal Dialga]]. Grovyle reveals the player character (as a human) and Grovyle were protectors against Dusknoir into the future. Forced to the present, both the human and Grovyle got separated, with the player losing memory, and Grovyle attempting to find the Time Gears. Recovering the Time Gears was meant to stop Temporal Tower from collapsing and sending Dialga into a primal rage. Grovyle didn't know the Player was his partner until they're about to return to the present. Grovyle, the Player, and the Partner recover the Time Gear of Treeshroud Forest, after which Grovyle heads out to recover the other Gears, made easier by the Team revealing the truth and him and Dusknoir. They head to the [[Hidden Land]] where they are confronted by Dusknoir, after finally defeating him and his Sableye, its revealed to the player that if they succeed, all Pokémon from the future will be erased from history. Grovyle is forced to send himself and Dusknoir back to the future, leaving the Time Gears with the player and partner. He, as well as Dusknoir, the player, and Primal Dialga, were erased from time, however, in return for their bravery, the player is restored by Dialga's time warping powers.
