::::::::Not to mention that it's practically impossible to evolve a Magneton into Magnezone at the Spear Pillar unless you're either: fighting Team Galactic, you knock out Dialga/Palkia, or Arceus if you have the item to summon the staircase (ony an idiot would knock one of them out just to eveolve a stupid Magneton (not that I don't like Magneton/Magnezone, I'm just saying it's not smart to evolve one that way)); or you go there and use a Rare Candy.
