Liko's Floragato: Difference between revisions

Sprigatito has shown to get jealous of other Pokémon taking or winning Liko's affection and getting along with her, as seen with [[Alex]]'s {{p|Fidough}} in ''[[HZ009|Welcome to Paldea!]]'' and {{an|Terapagos}} in ''[[HZ026|Terapagos's Adventure!]]''. However, Sprigatito quickly let go of her envy after she befriended them. Although, when Liko met a wild {{TP|Liko|Hatenna}} and took care of her in ''[[HZ021|The Lonely Hatenna]]'', she didn't show any sign of jealousy towards her, as she helped her Trainer look after the Calm Pokémon, which led them to form a close friendship and become teammates when her Trainer {{pkmn2|caught}} her, after encouraging her to stay with them. Ever since Hatenna joined the group, Sprigatito became protective of her, as she came to see her as her little sister and would get concerned when she would wander off on her own, as shown in ''[[HZ027|As Long as I'm with My Friends]]'', when she ran away from [[Dot]]'s strong emotions, but was relieved that she was safe when the group found her.

As a Sprigatito, Floragato was capable of releasing a sweet scent from her paws that relaxed those who smelled it. Sunbathing strengthen the power of her sweet scent, as noted by Liko herself. This aroma was strong enough to put [[Zirc]]'s {{p|Rhydon}} to sleep in the middle of their battle in ''The Pendant That Starts It All (Part One)'' and to calm Lucius's {{rf|Galarian}} {{p|Moltres}} down in ''[[HZ023|Fiery Galarian Moltres]]''. Moreover, Floragato has shown to be a tactic battler and was specially adept at using her Leafage, and later {{m|Magical Leaf}}, for various purposes. In [[HZ040]], it was revealed that her proficiency with the move had garnered her some popularity around Manya's house even before partnering with Liko. Since becoming her Pokémon, however, Sprigatito gained even more control over Leafage: as of ''[[HZ020|Kabu's Battle Training!]]'', she became able to control its speed, quantity, and power to better suit the situation. Her Leafage can also be used to spread her sweet scent over large areas, as seen in ''Fiery Galarian Moltres'', and to blind opponents, usually in preparation for a sneak attack or for escaping—both applications point to Floragato's natural ingenuity, which matches perfectly with Liko's observational skills, allowing her to circumvent her lack of raw strength.
