::I do see your point; however, the "romanization" column on the list page is equally unofficial. The Hindi Pokédex only lists the Hindi spellings for the names. The romanization column is according to the Wikitionary tranliteration. Those are great for pointing out how the names sound if an Latin alphabet reader wanted to read them, but they do not give any information about the Pokemon name itself. Native Hindi speakers, who also have knowledge about Pokemon, could easily point out that for example, in the case of Iron Valiant, the literal transliteration might come off as Āiranyoddhā, but for all purposes, it is Iron Yoddha. I think even if just the transliterations are corrected, instead of fully translating them, it should be enough. → PikaTepig999 20:36, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

::Additionally, in the case of Gen 1 species (atleast that I've seen for now), the Hindi names are the same as English names. For instance, बल्बासॉर, चारमैंडर, and स्क्वर्टल have become Balbāsŏr, Cārmaiṇḍar, and Skvarṭal according to the Wiktionary transliteration, but they are literally Hindi spellings for Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. (When Raltseye started the page, they were directly converting the English names into Devnagari script, but I guess now we have an "official" spelling. At least for the ones whose names were not changed completely.) Thus to reiterate my earlier point, maybe the transliteration column should be corrected in this way. → PikaTepig999 20:52, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Pokémon names in other languages
Hi. Should we create lists of Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish Pokémon names? These languages work just like Spanish and Italian, with most Pokémon using their English names, except for Type: Null and Paradox Pokémon. The prototype pages for these, of Brazilian Portuguese Pokémon names and of Turkish Pokémon names, list some Pokémon that have/had different pronunciations in the anime. Should these go in the trivia section or just be ignored? Also, Type: Null apparently got a Dutch name as well in the anime. Would you know any way to get confirmation on how its name is officially written? I'm guessing Paradox Pokémon will also get Dutch names. --RafaelGN (talk) 02:06, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
