Latias starts showing them another vision, this time showing them a {{p|Latios}} behind a glass wall in an underground facility. He breaks the glass and the vision moves outdoors, showing the group a view of the surrounding landscape before the vision cuts off. Latias is looking sad, making Ash wonder what exactly is going on. we find Latias feeling dejected about what happened to Latios. She searches for him, feeling left behind and alone. Ash approaches Latias and asks about Latios, prompting her to show him what's going on. After recalling two of his Pokemon, Ash decides to follow Latias while Brock sends out Steelix. Ash, his friends, and Latias ride on Brock's Steelix as Latias reveals that she has been following them for the entire series. Ash expresses his gratitude to Latias for her help, and upon their arrival at Latios' location, Latias uses Safeguard to avoid being seen. | |||

Brock and Ash to work together to heal Latios' injuries and pursue the villain. Despite their best efforts, Latios' injuries continue to impede their progress, and the group finally catches up to the Pokemon hunter at the beach. | |||
