(→‎Gain formula: I'm not sure about Gen 7, but I believe the +1 does apply in at least Gen 8, since in this BDSP video I was watching, this guy KO'd Barry's level 49 Staraptor with a level 58, and got 2340 EXP. With the friendship bonus and without the +1, I found that would only give 2339. Also, f and v 100% do not go in the base EXP calculation, Not sure though if that 1.2 is really 4915/4096 or something either.)
