I'm sorry, but based on the source you provided, I still don't think the "seven versions" idea was Tajiri's, but that it was probably more of a team effort brainstorming idea. That's also consistent with [https://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/3979/the_art_of_balance_pokmons_.php other sources] that suggest it (the version idea in general, or that of version-exclusive Pokémon) ultimately was Miyamoto's idea (not Tajiri's).
Same thing with version-exclusive Pokémon. The source you provided makes it sound like initially, the idea was to just have different appearance rates (based on some random ID, initially), and not actually version-exclusive Pokémon. Later on came the idea of version-exclusive Pokémon, after it was decided to have (two) versions. All in all, I think it's best to restore that version of [[Pokémon Red and Green Versions]] where Tajiri wasn't explicitly mentioned. What do you think?
