-Route 1 is just north of [[Postwick]] and is split into two different paths. The shorter route leads straight to Wedgehurst, while the longer route has [[Tall grass]] where you can encounter wild pokémon. Since you have no pokémon on you right at this moment, Hop will tell you to take the straight path to Wedgehurst, that way you don't get attacked by any wild pokémon. So just head on down the route and cross the bridge to meet Leon at last!

Since the player has no Pokémon with them at this moment, Hop advises that they stay away from the long path since it has [[tall grass]] where wild pokémon could potentially jump out and attack. So for now, just take the shorter path and head straight into Wedgehurst.
