: I have to agree that it is more like a centipede than a millipede, as a key distinction between the two is that a centipede has only one pair of legs per body segment whereas a millipede has two pairs of legs per segment (excluding the first 3 segments which have one pair of legs each) and this Pokémon ''clearly'' has one pair of legs on all of it's body segments. I don't think ''scoliosis'' has anything to do with its name. It simply has a similar etymology to ''scolopendra'' [[User:Dakhem Uaid|Dakhem Uaid]] ([[User talk:Dakhem Uaid|talk]]) 21:17, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Now we have a new centipede that looks unquestionably more similar to the order Scolopendromorpha than Scolipede appears to be. I get what you mean by how it looks 'more like a millipede' because of its roundness, but its legs are 1 pair per segment instead of 2 pairs per segment, which is the main separating factor. The other factors: It is similar to a millipede only by its Ability 'Poison Point' because certain millipedes are toxic to touch, however, given how it also has 'Speed Boost' (as a Hidden Ability), it is safe to say that it is definitely not a millipede, since millipedes are some of the slowest moving leggy creatures; Centipede legs are longer further down the body so that they don't trip or tangle, which is evident in Scolipede; Scolipede is definitely not in the order Scolopendromorpha, but rather Scutigeromorpha (Scutigera coleoptrata the fastest running bug that isn't a spider), because it is extremely fast and much more round than Centiskorch; Scolipede has undefined forcipules, whereas Centiskorch has well-defined forcipules, thus supporting the Scutigeromorpha order inspiration. The only thing that doesn't make sense is that the two would be in competition; one is a House Centipede and the other is a Giant Centipede, so their prey items are quite different.
