Just wanted to add some more explanations on how an NPC's gender correlates to their Pokemon's. I especially started noticing this because of the  [https://pastebin.com/raw/EUw7mEtR Trainer dump for SwSh].
For most Trainers' Pokemon, the gender is unspecified (marked as a ~ in the dump). When we battle these Pokémon, they'll always default to the same gender as their Trainer. Except for skewed gender ratios- then it defaults to the dominant, more common gender.
