:I think because friendship/"happiness" is an intuitive term, misconceptions are a little easier so there's pretty good reason to address some of those. ::I don't know that much more, really. The best examples I can think of are actually just those regarding level and "rarity". There is also the belief that pressing a given sequence of buttons might make a difference somehow, but I think that's already going too deep in the rabbit hole. The thing is that level and rarity are reasonable misconceptions, someone playing the games might easily notice that some rarer or higher leveled Pokémon appear to be harder to catch (some Legendary Pokémon, for example) and believe that these factors are related, and I've seen a good amount of people thinking this was the case.
