I can't edit but the general colour scheme and shape of Calyrex seems to be based on a Thistle - the national flower of Scotland. Considering Galar is based on the UK upside-down and the Crown Tundra is in the south (where Scotland would be), it's likely that this is the inspiration for part of the design.
