This card was included as a Regular card, a {{TCG|Full Art card}}, and as a {{TCG|Secret card}} in the {{TCG|Sun & Moon}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Collection Moon}}. The Regular print features artwork by [[PLANETA]], while the Full Art and Secret prints feature artwork by [[5ban Graphics]]. A {{TCG|Jumbo card|Jumbo}} version of the Regular print was included in the {{TCGMerch|Sun & Moon|Series|Alola Collection}} starting November 18, 2016. This print excluded the card's HP, Evolution Stage, and Attack Cost. A {{TCG|SM Black Star Promos|SM Black Star Promotional}} reprint featuring different artwork by 5ban Graphics was released in one of the two {{TCGMerch|Sun & Moon|Series|Legends of Alola Tins}} on March 17, 2017. This print was subsequently released in the Japanese {{TCG|GX Battle Boost}} subset. An entirely gold Full Art print with artwork by 5ban Graphics was included as a Secret card in the {{TCG|Ultra Prism}} expansion, first released in the Japanese GX Battle Boost subset. Another Jumbo version of the Regular print, this time with the card's HP, Evolution Stage, and Attack Cost, was available in the {{TCGMerch|Sun & Moon|Series|Lunala-GX Challenge Box}} released from June 7, 2019.
