From what I can tell, Z-moves bypass conditions that would ordinarily prevent moves of their category and/or class from being selected and/or executed, such as {{m|Taunt}} and {{m|Heal Block}}, allowing the move to be used regardless. I'm curious to know whether this extends to {{m|Throat Chop}} being unable to prevent Clangorous Soulblaze from being executed. (I'm currently designing a sound-based Z-move of my own for one of my fakemon, so I need to know whether the general principle of Z-moves bypassing specific execution blocks such as Throat Chop extends to non-status Z-moves or not.) --Luigifan 21:45, 23 April 2019 (UTC) | |||
