In light of the edit warring, seeking an opinion before adding it to the page -- the Rhyhorn and Rhydon master trainers, Farkas and Eugene, seem to be a reference to Bulk and Skull from Power Rangers. For what it has to do with the characters, the Dinosaur-like design of Rhydon, or the tough guy demeanor of the two, could be points of note.
