'''Kylan''' (Japanese: '''ケンソー''' ''Kensō'') is one of the [[character of the day|characters of the day]] in ''[[BW077|Evolution by Fire!]]''. He was first seen in a [[Battle Club]] in [[Astilbe Town]], battling in a [[Double Battle]] with [[Shamus]]. He ended up losing the battle, and then was cornered by his opponent later on, who told Kylan that he had to give Shamus his Pokémon. {{Ash}} and {{ashfr}} intervened and kept Shamus busy long enough for [[Don George]] to walk by, deterring him from taking Kylan's Pokémon. Kylan then explained to the group that he was forced to battle Shamus because he was afraid of his Pokémon.
