Jeremiah is a salaryman of the {{DL|Pokétch|Pokétch Company}} in [[Jubilife City]] and one of the students in {{ci|Snowpoint}} {{pkmn|academy|Trainers' School}}. During the test, he answered all of [[Candice]]'s questions correctly while {{Ash}} impatiently answers them, resulting in the wrong answers. Because of this, Jeremiah thinks Ash is not a truly skilled Trainer, and only won his Badges by luck. After the test, he tried to take back the [[Poké Ball]]s stolen by {{TRT}}. He engaged in battle with [[James's Carnivine]] with his {{p|Skuntank}}, but Carnivine's {{m|Vine Whip}} incapacitated Skuntank, not allowing it to use any moves. They were later helped by Ash and {{ashfr}}, and he apologized to Ash.

In ''[[DP127|Sliding Into Seventh!]]'', Jeremiah is seen looking after a class of younger students, and when Team Rocket attempts to steal the school's Poké Balls for a second time, he uses his Skuntank's {{a|Stench|Ability}} to chase Team Rocket away.

Jeremiah made a brief cameo in ''[[DP177|A Grand Fight for Winning!]]'', where he watched the [[Sinnoh Grand Festival]] in the Snowpoint Trainers' School, alongside Candice.
