Totem Pokémon: Difference between revisions

In [[Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon]], Totem Stickers scattered around the Alola region will allow the player to obtain Totem-sized Pokémon depending on the number of stickers obtained. The player unlocks the Totem-sized Pokémon from [[Samson Oak]] at [[Heahea Beach]] after meeting him for the first time at [[Big Wave Beach]]. He will call the player through the [[Rotom Pokédex]] to inform him/her when they reach a certain amount of Totem Stickers.  

When 20 Totem Stickers are obtained, Samson gives the player a {{p|Gumshoos}}{{sup/7|US}}/an {{alo|Raticate}}{{sup/7|UM}}. When 40 Stickers are collected, Samson gives out an {{alo|Marowak}}{{sup/7|US}}/{{p|Araquanid}}{{sup/7|UM}}. When 50 stickers are collected, Samson gives out a {{p|Lurantis}}{{sup/7|US}}/{{p|Salazzle}}{{sup/7|UM}}. When 70 Totem Stickers are collected, Samson gives the player a {{p|Vikavolt}}{{sup/7|US}}/{{p|Togedemaru}}{{sup/7|UM}}. When the player collects 80 Totem Stickers, Samson gives the player a {{p|Mimikyu}}. Finally, when all 100 Totem Stickers are collected, Samson gives the player a {{p|Ribombee}}{{sup/7|US}}/{{p|Kommo-o}}{{sup/7|UM}}.

Totem Pokémon have larger heights and weights compared to their original counterparts, which changes the mechanics of some moves (such as {{m|Low Kick}} and {{m|Grass Knot}}). Totem Pokémon are also {{Shiny}}-locked, and their sizes cannot be passed down through [[Pokémon breeding]].

* Totem {{p|Gumshoos}}{{sup/7|US}} and Totem {{p|Raticate|Alolan Raticate}}{{sup/7|UM}} are the only Totem Pokémon that can be [[rematch]]ed and/or battled during the post-game.
