Clembot knows that a {{type|Flying}} like Vivillon is at a disadvantage against Magnemite and starts with {{m|Electro Ball}} but Vivillon counters with {{m|Flash}} to blind Magnemite and stop the attack before using {{m|Quiver Dance}}. As Clembot wonders what to do, Clemont tells him to remain calm and focused and observe and to predict his opponent's next move. As Clembot goes to do this, Alvin has Vivillon put Magnemite to {{status|sleep}} with {{m|Sleep Powder}} and use {{m|Energy Ball}} which knocks Magnemite out. Clembot recalls Magnemite as Clemont reminds Clembot to not get nervous and keep his eyes open at all times as Clembot sends out {{TP|Clemont|Magneton}}. Vivillon starts with Sleep Powder Magneton uses {{m|Rain Dance}} which prevents Sleep Powder from working and knocks out Vivillon with {{m|Thunder}}. Clemont praises Clembot on its strategy. Next Alvin uses {{DL|Alvin|Pyroar}} to attack with {{m|Flamethrower}} but another Thunder quickly knocks Pyroar out. Clembot confirms to Clemont that it feels good to win as Alvin sends out {{DL|Alvin|Cubone}} as his last Pokémon. As a {{type|Ground}}, Magneton's Thunder will have no effect on Cubone so Magneton is at a disadvantage. Cubone starts with {{m|Bonemerang}} which Magneton counters with {{m|Sonic Boom}} stopping the attack as Alvin orders a {{m|Brick Break}} which knocks Magneton out. As Clembot recalls Magneton, Clemont says it is upsetting to lose but by losing, he can learn to become stronger. Clembot takes his advice and sends out {{TP|Clemont|Heliolisk}}. Determined to get the {{badge|Voltage}}, Alvin orders Brick Break. Heliolisk keeps dodging as Cubone continues to attack as Clembot knows electric type moves will have no effect so orders a {{m|Dragon Tail}} which Cubone blocks and uses {{m|Bone Rush}}. Heliolisk counters with {{m|Focus Blast}} which stops Cubone but leaves Cubone still standing. Alvin is determined to beat Clembot and remembers what Clembot said before and orders a Bonemerang. Heliolisk counters with Focus Blast but the Bonemerang breaks through and knocks out Heliolisk giving Alvin the win. Clembot found the battle to be enjoyable and gives Alvin his Voltage badge. Ash congratulates Alvin as Serena says that Clembot battled well as Bonnie says that Magnemite, Magneton and Heliolisk all battled well as Clembot thanks them for cheering him on before telling Clemont he wishes to learn more about Pokémon and Clemont says he would love to teach him. | ||
Later everyone gathers as Professor Sycamore says it is [[Kalos League]] award time and Serena remembers it never happened because of Team Flare. Bonnie suggests instead of awarding just Alain and Ash, they should award everyone as they all battled Team Flare. Professor Sycamore give Ash and Alain their medals and invites Alain to be his assistant again. Because of his work for Team Flare, Alain declines but Professor Sycamore says he and Lumiose City could use his help which he accepts. Later the group along with their Pokémon receive medals for their assistance as a photograph is taken. That night, a crowd gather around Prism Tower and a countdown commences as Meyer pulls a switch to turn the lights on as fireworks start to go off. As they celebrate the gym reopening. Clemont asks Serena what her plans are. She isn't certain but remembers [[Palmero]]'s offer as Ash says she'll be fine and he believes in her. | |||
